A Pantomime that doesn't fall on the Corporate Entertainment side of the fence isn't really a pantomime at all. But Team Building?
Well, let's have a look at a case study.
We were approached by the National Director of Barclays Bank. He wanted a Pantomime. In fact, he wanted to play the lead part in the Pantomime and he wanted his newly formed team (of Regional Directors) to make up the cast of the Pantomime.
So we wrote him his Pantomime script (had a curious read-through; senior executives with posh suits, plush offices and comedy voices). We included three professional actors to maintain the pace. To their credit, the Directors did a great job. We played the pantomime to 2,000 bank managers (another surreal experience). Everyone joined in and everyone was truly impressed with their senior management team.
After the event, one of the regional directors explained the benefits. He said it would take three years (meeting periodically) to really know the team (not to mention 2,000 branch managers). We had brought them together in just a few short weeks.
So, we claim the Team Building mantle here. Although, for 2,000 managers, it was pure entertainment.
