BREAKING NEWS: BUILDING TEAMS

Change Management - Dealing with Stress.

Think of the TV News and how organised it seems.

Behind the scenes, it must be different. Putting a news bulletin together 'on the fly' is a stressful business. Someone must be in a panic.

News Flash puts you in that environment.

Your team includes a Producer, Presenter (or 'Anchor') and one or more roving news crews.

From a list of stories, you decide which to investigate and despatch your crews accordingly. The Producer and Anchor put the programme together, write and rehearse the script.

As the deadline approaches (a deadline that must be met), it all comes together. Each story is trimmed or extended to fit. Timing is critical.

Crisis Point

Just as you go 'live', a major story breaks. Ignore it, mention it or accommodate it. It's your shout.

This is a team building (or possibly team breaking) game that tests Change Management, Planning, Negotiation Skills and how you Deal with Stress.

It can be run over 3 - 8 hours. The presentation can be simple or complex. A single team can consist of between 5 - 25 people and you can have any number of teams. The very basic package can include just one camera, a desk, flip-chart and TV.

Enhancements Include:-
Actors
To play politicians, celebrities, witnesses, spokespeople, sportsmen.
Business Facilitator / Psychologist
To get the most benefit from the game, set objective and debriefing sessions.
Graphics
Simple hand drawn graphics are fine but computer generated graphics are better.
Studio Presentation
Pile the pressure on with a large screen and audience.
