ACCIDENTAL PRODUCTIONS
The Murder Mystery and Team Building Company
Quick! We need a "Q" to complete our alphabetical client list. (We also need a "Y" but you'd have to be pretty observant to notice that). We've done lots of "B's" in our time - BBC, Barclays, BT, BDA. Mind you, our "time" has been quite long.
Accidental Productions began trading back in 1990. Murder Mystery was a brand-spanking new phenomenon back then and we were there at the start. Since then, we've developed Game Shows, Film Days, Treasure Hunts and many other events. We are now one of the very best suppliers of fun, team building events in the corporate arena.
THE BEGINNING
The company was created by Ian Williams and Julie Foulds.
Ian trained as an actor at RADA and worked in theatre and TV before scripting those early murder mysteries. He writes, produces, directs and acts in many of the shows. He is also an accomplished film-maker and editor, dividing his time between the studio and live events (a bit like a rock star but without the hair). He claims he can make anyone laugh (either in real life or in Photoshop).
Julie has been an events organiser for over 20 years. She first worked freelance for such companies as Meeting Point, Emap, and Euromoney before joining forces with Ian to create Accidental Productions. She has been organising their events, both small and large, ever since.
THE TEAM
Our team of actors are not only talented, creative and enthusiastic, but also fun to work with. We like to create a relaxed environment so that people (including the event organiser) can enjoy, take part and have fun.
It is our attention to detail, our experience and knowledge of what works in the planning that sets our events apart. Whatever your objective, we work with you, with imagination and passion, to design and deliver a great event.
"A massive thank you from everybody here for yesterday's Murder Mystery event - your team were fantastic and everybody (even the most miserable members of staff!) enjoyed themselves. I admit, I hadn't thought it would be that good, but it was the best away day I've ever been to. The atmosphere at work is certainly a lot more buoyant today! Please pass on my thanks to the actors - they were brilliant!"
